HIGHWAY STARR is Southern California’s Premier Modern Country Rock Band. Playing today’s hottest country hits with a splash of yesterday’s favorites; this band has been at the forefront of the SoCal country music scene.

Spawn from the outskirts of Los Angeles, the band features lead vocalist Dave Rea, along with the driving duel rhythm and lead guitar skills of W. Scott Felton and Johnny Hawthorn. Eric Sachs provides the rolling thunder on bass opposite the powerhouse drumming of Rob Jones, who round out the band’s rhythm section.

Not just another rehashed “Saloon Band”, HIGHWAY STARR has raised the standard by combining the music, attitude and showmanship in their concert style shows throughout the region. Their vast set list includes contemporary hits by Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Kenny Chesney, Zac Brown, Keith Urban, Eric Church and many more!

In 2017 drummer, Rob Jones, survived the tragic Las Vegas, Route 91 Harvest Festival Concert shooting. Just weeks after the tragedy, HIGHWAY STARR helped to raise more than $10,000 for local Ventura County victims and their families by headlining a benefit concert at Borderline Bar & Grill in Thousand Oaks, CA with other local artists in support.
