The Whispers are an American R&B and soul vocal group formed in Los Angeles in the 1960s. They first gained recognition during the soul era with smooth harmonies and energetic performances, later achieving major commercial success in the late 1970s and 1980s. Known for blending classic soul with funk and disco influences, the group scored
major hits such as And the Beat Goes On, Rock Steady, and It’s a Love Thing. Their polished vocal style and danceable grooves helped make them one of the most enduring acts in R&B, with a career spanning several decades.

Atlantic Starr is an American R&B and soul group formed in the mid-1970s in White Plains, New York. The band gained early recognition with dance-oriented R&B hits such as Circles and Send for Me, before achieving major mainstream success in the 1980s with smooth, romantic ballads. Their biggest hit, Always (1987), reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and became one of the era’s most memorable love songs. Known for their polished sound and soulful harmonies, the group helped define the romantic R&B style that was popular throughout the 1980s.

Jammin Jay Lamont is an American stand-up comedian known for his clean, high-energy humor and relatable storytelling. Drawing from everyday life, family, and cultural experiences, he delivers feel-good comedy that connects with a wide range of audiences. In addition to performing live, he’s also known for hosting, radio work, and entertaining crowds with his smooth, charismatic style.

Guy Torry is an American stand-up comedian and actor from St. Louis, Missouri. He’s known for his high-energy style and for creating the influential Phat Tuesdays comedy showcase in Los Angeles, which helped spotlight and launch many Black comedians in the 1990s. He began his career after being inspired by Def Comedy Jam, later appearing on the show himself, and went on to build an acting résumé with roles in films like American History X, Life, and Pearl Harbor, along with TV appearances on series such as Martin and The X-Files.
