“Hooray for Holidays” celebrates the season with the Chorus singing over twenty timeless holiday melodies from the golden age of cinema’s Meet Me in St. Louis, White Christmas, and Mame to contemporary classics The Polar Express, The Muppet Christmas Carol, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and Love Actually. The program will feature standards from the Great American Songbook to hits made famous by pop icons Bruce Springsteen, The Beach Boys, and Wham! Los Angeles’ favorite holiday tradition will be more special this year as GMCLA is joined by five-time Emmy Award winner and Grammy nominee Wayne Brady. With dance numbers and a few surprises in store, “Hooray for Holidays” will surely be something to shout about!
Wayne Brady (Whose Line Is It Anyway, Kinky Boots) is an incredibly versatile entertainer and the current host of CBS Television’s Let’s Make a Deal. Wayne has earned four Daytime Emmy Awards and a Primetime Emmy Award and garnered a Grammy nomination for his rendition of Sam Cooke’s venerable classic, “A Change is Gonna Come.” He has also appeared in Broadway productions of Chicago, Kinky Boots, and Freestyle Love Supreme. Wayne will tour nationally with The Wiz in the titular role beginning in 2024.
GAY MEN’S CHORUS OF LOS ANGELES, under the leadership of Executive Director & Producer Lou Spisto and Music Director & Conductor Dr. Ernest H. Harrison, is in its 45th year of music and service. GMCLA continues to garner acclaim for artistic excellence while remaining deeply rooted in service to the Los Angeles community and beyond by promoting civil rights, tolerance, and acceptance through music. Founded in 1979 during the emergence of the gay rights movement, GMCLA spreads its message of love and acceptance with concerts across the globe and has raised its collective voice in the movement toward equality, social justice, the fight against the AIDS crisis, the fight for marriage equality, and all those seeking to find their own voice. GMCLA’s free community concert program has provided access to concerts to tens of thousands over the decades, and its research-based education programs have served over 85,000 young people throughout the Los Angeles region. In June 2023, GMCLA returned to Walt Disney Concert Hall to perform the extraordinary multi-media Disney Pride in Concert to two sold-out houses as the finale of Season 44, which also included “I’m With Her,” a celebration of boundary breaking women in music, as well as the beloved and sold-out holiday production, “A Motown Holiday.” In recent years, GMCLA has performed at Carnegie Hall and the Hollywood Bowl (with Hugh Jackman). Reaching global audiences, a GMCLA appearance at the 2020 Film Independent Spirit Awards has gained more than 7 million online views. During the pandemic, GMCLA presented virtual concerts, special events, and school programs, reaching thousands of new and longtime fans. From Los Angeles and Ireland to Brazil and New Zealand, GMCLA’s streaming concerts were incredibly well received. Critics have proclaimed the Chorus “inspired” and “expressive, innovative and utterly moving,” and hailed GMCLA for presenting “meaningful entertainment.”

Mark Tremonti, rocker and founding member for Creed, Alter Bridge and Tremonti, takes the Stage at The Saban Theatre for a special, inspiring and heart-warming performance.
The lights go down. Familiar horns pipe up from a world-class orchestra as piano twinkles like the jackpot lights on a winning slot machine. Then, the voice kicks in. It has all of the smoky splendor those first few notes hinted at, but it ain’t Ol’ Blue Eyes. In a tailored suit with microphone in hand, it’s Mark Tremonti. The GRAMMY® Award-winning multiplatinum musician sounds just as at home paying homage to the catalog of Frank Sinatra as he does fronting Tremonti or shredding his soul out as the guitarist for Alter Bridge and Creed. Moreover, he’s doing it for a reason that’d make the Chairman of the Board proud. Accompanied by surviving members of Sinatra’s band as well as various top-notch players, Tremonti cut 14 classics for Tremonti Sings Sinatra, which he gifted to the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS) as part of his new organization Take A Chance For Charity. 100% of the album’s proceeds will go to NDSS and their work with people with developmental disabilities.
It’s Tremonti like you’ve never heard him on perhaps the most important record of his career thus far…
“I’ve always loved singing Frank Sinatra songs,” he reveals. “One night, I found an old video of him performing ‘The Song Is You’ from 1944. It took my love for Frank Sinatra and his music to a whole new level. It made me study how he got his start. I read all of the books, and I watched all of the movies. I wanted to do something with it. I spent countless hours singing his songs and studying the technique and I started feeling really good about my progress. That led to me trying to figure out what else I could do with this knowledge. This was so different from anything I had ever done before, and I wasn’t sure what to do with it. When we found out about our daughter Stella’s Down Syndrome diagnosis, the stars aligned. My obsession with Sinatra had its reason. He raised more than a billion dollars for charity. Beneath the cool and calm persona, there was a big heart. Doing this charity in his name felt like it was meant to be. I decided to do this record to raise funds for families and individuals with Down Syndrome. Now, I have a new purpose for the rest of my life.”
The project held a much greater gravity than anything else Tremonti had ever done. He pitched his manager Tim Tournier, who was all-in. In what he calls “another stars aligning moment,” Tournier actually took lessons from Sinatra guitarist Dan McIntyre [Sinatra Jr., Della Reese, Vic Damon]. McIntyre linked Tremonti and Tournier with Sinatra’s own band leader Mike Smith [Tony Bennett, Harry Connick Jr.]. They proved Tremonti’s commitment and vocal chops.
Sold on Tremonti’s voice, they were granted rare approval from The Frank Sinatra Estate to move forward. And they moved forward in style. Tremonti bought a tailored suit and hopped a plane to Chicago for three sessions in 2021 led by Smith and McIntyre. They would be joined by a cohort of A-list musicians whose credits span everyone from Sinatra (of course), Sammy Davis Jr., Ray Charles, Billy Joel, Barbra Streisand, and Barry Manilow to Lady Gaga, Stevie Wonder, and Buddy Rich.
Well, it is just the beginning. Tremonti Sings Sinatra serves as the inaugural project for his new Take A Chance For Charity movement. So far, 100 million dollars has been raised for charity.

Peaches & Herb is an American vocal duo. Herb Fame (born October 1, 1941) has remained a constant as “Herb” since the duo was created in 1966; seven different women have filled the role of “Peaches”, most notably Francine Edna “Peaches” Hurd Barker (April 28, 1947 – August 13, 2005), the original “Peaches” who lent her nickname to the duo, and Linda Greene Tavani, the third “Peaches”, who appeared on the duo’s biggest hits “Shake Your Groove Thing” (1978) and “Reunited” (1979).
Blue Magic is an American R&B and soul group, and one of the more popular Philadelphia soul groups of the 1970s. Founded in 1972, the group’s original members included lead singer Ted Mills with Vernon Sawyer, Wendell Sawyer, Keith Beaton, and Richard Pratt. Their most notable songs included smooth soul ballads such as “Sideshow”, “Spell”, “What’s Come Over Me”, “Three Ring Circus”, and “Stop to Start”.

In a career spanning over 50 years, Engelbert has generated sales in excess of 140 million records, including 64 gold albums and 35 platinum, four Grammy nominations, a Golden Globe, and stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Las Vegas Walk of Fame, and Leicester Walk of Fame.
He has performed for the Queen four times, several presidents and many heads of state. He has recorded everything from the most romantic ballads to movie theme songs, disco, rock, and even gospel. His unique voice has charmed millions of fans around the globe.
However, it’s not just the voice, but the man himself, with his endearing sense of humor and self-deprecating jokes. Engelbert has managed to strike a new chord with a younger generation, appearing on MTV several times.
Engelbert exploded on to the music scene with The Beatles and the Rolling Stones. The shy handsome man catapulted almost instantly to world icon. He became great friends with Elvis and the two legends often performed each other’s songs. His first single in the charts was “Release Me,” which went into the Guinness Book of Records for achieving 56 consecutive weeks on the charts. It was No. 1 in 11 countries. The following decades see Engelbert constantly touring the world to sell-out crowds. He takes great pleasure in every moment on stage.
Engelbert’s music has transcended time and his voice continues to reach out to people now – serving to transport and inspire, to embrace and to provoke feelings and emotions…ingredients that are no doubt the essence of his long-lasting success.
Engelbert’s hit song “A Man Without Love” was just featured in Marvel’s “Moon Knight” Disney+ Series, with his music & social media charts breaking all records. In Sony Pictures’ new Brad Pitt film “Bullet Train” Engelbert’s song “Forever Blowing Bubbles” is featured as well.
Engelbert was just awarded the Honor of Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) on Her Majesty the Queen’s Birthday Honors List presented by Her Royal Highness Princess Anne.
