THIS PERFORMANCE WILL BE HELD ENTIRELY IN THE ROTUNDA / LOBBY AREA OF THE SABAN THEATRE
Multi-instrumentalist and composer Myles Davis leads a moving Juneteenth performance that shines light on under-recognized Black artists. Blending timeless works, original compositions, and spoken word, the evening reflects on resilience, creativity, and the deep roots of Black musical expression.
Davis brings a unique voice shaped by years of experience composing music for major platforms, including HBO, Disney, and Hulu. As a performer, he has shared the stage with musical luminaries such as Arturo Sandoval and Justin Hurwitz. His work bridges tradition and innovation, offering a sound that is both reverent and wholly his own.
