Event Details

Top-notch comedians and crooners take the stage on March 6th, 2026.

Michael Blackson has been called one of the most original stand-up comics in the country, and his performances leave audiences laughing in tears. Michael Blackson, aka, ‘The African King of Comedy’, has been entertaining audiences all across the country and around the globe for more than a decade.

Blackson’s comedic appeal grew from his involvement with BET’s ComicView series, HBO’s Def Comedy Jam, Showtime at Harlem, and Live in Hollywood. However, it was in a Los Angeles comedy club where Blackson got his big break. Blackson was performing at the Comedy Store where actor/director Ice Cube was in attendance to see comedian Mike Epps perform. But after experiencing Blackson’s performance, Ice Cube invited the young comic for a reading…and the rest is smash hit history! Blackson’s outstanding and unforgettable performance in the smash hit comedy Next Friday drew praise and a fan following like no other.

After his scene stealing performance in Next Friday, fans wanted more, and in 2005, Blackson would not disappoint. He released his top-selling sketch comedy CD entitled, Modasucka, Welcome to America. Along with special guest appearances on some of the hottest music videos, Blackson stole the stage on Bad Boys of Comedy on HBO and starred in a commercial for the Chappelle Show on Comedy Central.

Along with his film and television endeavors, Blackson continues to entertain his fans as the headliner for live shows at comedy clubs, universities and special events, bringing his one-of-a kind, must-see stand-up performance to audiences all across the country and around the world.

Sammie – For more than two decades, Sammie has embodied the soul of R&B — a voice that grew up with a generation and never lost its truth. From his unforgettable debut at age twelve to his evolution as one of music’s most enduring storytellers, Sammie’s journey is more than a career — it’s a testimony of grace, growth, and greatness.

He is one of the few artists who lived every era of modern R&B — from the golden age of boy band purity to the digital renaissance — and still stands as a voice audiences trust. His sound is nostalgia, his message is healing, and his presence is legacy. Every note carries lived experience; every word reflects a man who has transformed pain into purpose and success into service.
Today, Sammie transcends genre. He is a cultural mainstay, a bridge between generations, and a champion of emotional wellness and faith in an industry built on illusion. His authenticity has become his brand — a rare currency that commands respect from both fans and fellow artists.

More than a musician, Sammie is a mirror of resilience — a man who turned vulnerability into power, turned moments into movements, and continues to inspire with integrity, intention, and undeniable presence.

He doesn’t follow trends; he defines timelessness.
He doesn’t chase relevance; he is relevance.
Sammie isn’t just an artist — he’s an era.
