“Not That Jewish” is a Hilarious, yet deeply poignant one woman play from EMMY and GOLDEN GLOBE Award winning comedy writer, actor and stand-up comedian MONICA PIPER. She has written for sitcoms Roseanne, Mad About You and Veronica’s Closet, and was the head writer and producer of the #1 children’s animated series, Rugrats. This critically acclaimed one-woman play starring Monica Piper was a smash off-Broadway sensation with a 200 performance run.
When she is not touring with “Not That Jewish”, Monica performs for Jewish organizations around the nation with her hilarious and heartwarming autobiographical blend of stand-up storytelling. MONICA PIPER leaves audiences laughing out loud, a little teary-eyed, and happy to be Jewish… even those who aren’t.
This performance has a special guest appearance by stand-up comedian WENDY LIEBMAN who will be opening the show. Wendy is a comedic gem in her own right having appeared on Carson, Letterman, Leno, along with doing specials for HBO, Comedy Central and Showtime. She was a Semi-Finalist on NBC’s America’s Got Talent Season 9, and she appeared on Showtime’s “Even More Funny Women Of A Certain Age”.
