A Night of Classic Hits: America & Cat Stevens Tributes

Step back into the golden era of the 1970s for an unforgettable night of timeless music, featuring two beloved songbooks that defined a generation.

Headlining the evening is Ventura Highway — The Best of America, an all-star ensemble delivering the rich harmonies and signature sound of one of the most iconic bands of the decade. Featuring award-winning guitarist Jeff Ellis, along with Jim Wootten (carrying on the legacy of his family musical roots, including Red Wootten, Les Paul and Mary Ford), and Michael Oliveri (formerly of Leatherwolf and Jack Russell’s Great White), this exceptional lineup brings a high level of musicianship and authenticity to every performance. Supported by Kevin Herrera and Joey Alva, Ventura Highway faithfully recreates the timeless hits “A Horse with No Name,” “Ventura Highway,” “Sister Golden Hair,” and “Tin Man.”

Opening the evening is Peace Train LA — A Tribute to Cat Stevens, featuring Jason Marshall, whose heartfelt performance captures the spirit and storytelling of Cat Stevens’ legendary catalog. Audiences will enjoy beautifully performed favorites including “Wild World,” “Moonshadow,” “Father and Son,” and “Peace Train,” bringing warmth, nostalgia, and connection to the stage.

Together, these two outstanding performances create a seamless evening of music, memories, and classic songs that have stood the test of time — a true journey through the soundtrack of the 1970s.
