A Wizard, A True Star. The title of Todd Rundgren’s 1973 solo album aptly sums up the contributions of this multi-faceted artist to state-of-the-art music. As a songwriter, video pioneer, producer, recording artist, computer software developer, conceptualist, and interactive artist (re-designated TRi), Rundgren has made a lasting impact on both the form and content of popular music.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, Rundgren began playing guitar as a teenager, going on to found and front The Nazz, the quintessential `60’s psychedelic group. In 1969, he left the band to pursue a solo career, recording his debut offering, the legendary Runt. But it was 1972’s seminal
Something/Anything?, on which he played all the instruments, sang all the vocal parts, and acted as his own producer, that catapulted Todd into the superstar limelight, prompting the press to unanimously dub him ‘Rock’s New Wunderkind’. It was followed by such landmark LPs as The Hermit of Mink Hollow and the above mentioned A Wizard, A True Star, as well as such hit singles as I Saw The Light, Hello It’s Me, Can We Still Be Friends, and Bang The Drum.
In 1974, Todd formed Todd Rundgren’s Utopia (renamed and reconfigured in 1976 as Utopia), an entirely new approach to the concept of interactive musicianship and embarked on an extensive round of touring and recording. Standout Utopia offerings included Oops! Wrong Planet, Adventures in Utopia, and Oblivion. Along the way, Todd Rundgren’s Utopia combined technical virtuosity and creative passion to create music that initially, for millions, defined the term “progressive rock”, and subsequently, as Utopia, the term “powerpop”.
Rundgren’s myriad production projects include albums by Patti Smith, Cheap Trick, Psychedelic Furs, Meat Loaf, XTC, Grand Funk Railroad, and Hall And Oates. Rounding out his reputation as rock’s Renaissance Man, Rundgren composed all the music and lyrics for Joe Papp’s 1989 Off-Broadway production of Joe Orton’s Up Against It (the screenplay commissioned by The Beatles for what was meant to have been their third motion picture). He also has composed the music for the hit film Dumb and Dumber, as well as a number of television series, including Pee Wee’s Playhouse and Crime Story.
In 2009 Rundgren performed his iconic 1973 album A Wizard A True Star in concert in its entirety for the first time ever, and several years later did the same with a double bill:
Todd & Healing.
He has toured with Ringo Starr as an erstwhile member of the All-Starr Band since 1989 and continues to perform with symphony orchestras both domestically and internationally.
In 2018 he toured North America with original Utopians Kasim Sulton and Willie Wilcox for the first time in 33 years. His long-awaited autobiography The Individualist, was recently released; he’s currently in the second year of the world’s first hybrid concert/book tour highlighting music across his 50-plus-year career.

Event Details
The Bacon Brothers have spent the better part of three decades exploring their own mix of folk, rock, soul, and country music. They call that diverse sound “forosoco,” and it’s taken them around the world, from headlining gigs in Japan to American performances at iconic venues like Carnegie Hall, the Grand Ole Opry and Gruene Hall.
The exploration continues with the band’s twelfth release, Ballad Of The Brothers. It’s a record that highlights not only the similarities between Kevin Bacon (known worldwide as an A-list Hollywood actor) and Michael Bacon (celebrated as an Emmy-winning composer), but the differences, too. The two siblings may be bound together by blood and a mutual love of American roots music, but they’ve grown into sharp songwriters and cinematic storytellers with their own distinct approaches. Ballad Of The Brothers makes room for both of those approaches, offering a mix of edgy alt-rock (“Take Off This Tattoo”), Motown-inspired soul (“Put Your Hand Up”), fingerpicked folk (“Let That Be Enough”), and everything in between. The album also marks the continuation of a musical partnership that began long ago in Philadelphia, where the Bacons were raised on a soundtrack of 1970s singer/songwriters, Philly soul bands, and classic rock acts. Multiple decades and countless shows later, they’re creating their own soundtrack, saluting their old-school influences while making music that’s undeniably modern.

The touring sensation that has criss-crossed the nation delighting audiences for over a decade returns this summer with a show full of chart-topping hits from the ‘60s and ‘70s – an undeniable 61 Billboard Top 40 smashes. The Tour is once again joined by THE TURTLES, who also act as musical hosts for the evening. Along with THE TURTLES will be LITTLE ANTHONY, GARY PUCKETT & THE UNION GAP, THE VOGUES, CLASSICS IV and THE COWSILLS.
THE TURTLES are best known for their harmony-heavy California pop sound. With such hits as “Elenore,” “She’d Rather Be With Me,” “It Ain’t Me Babe,” “You Showed Me” and the title of the tour, “Happy Together,” the band ruled the airwaves in the late ‘60s. Ron Dante joins the line-up to delight with his own mega-hits, “Sugar Sugar” and “Tracy.”
Jay & The Americans gave the traditions of doo wop harmony an update that lent them a more contemporary sound, keeping in time with the sound of 1960s pop music, while still upholding a clean-cut show biz persona. Hits include: “She Cried,” “Come A Little Bit Closer,” “Only In America,” “This Magic Moment,” “Cara Mia,” “Walkin’ In The Rain,” and more.
Badfinger, hailed for their influence on the 1970s power pop genre, has sold over 14 million records. Hit singles include “Day After Day,” “Come And Get It,” “No Matter What,” “Baby Blue,” Maybe Tomorrow,” “Hold On,” and more.
THE VOGUES, are known for their harmony-driven soaring pop sound. THE VOGUES had numerous Top 10 hits with singles such as “Five O’Clock World”, “You’re The One,” “My Special Angel” and “Turn Around Look At Me,” among others.
THE CLASSICS IV with their southern soft rock sound, they are one of the most popular and influential pop groups of the 60s and 70s. They achieved phenomenal success with multiplatinum hits “Spooky,” “Stormy,” “Traces,” and “Everyday With You Girl.”
Rounding out the bill are THE COWSILLS, the harmonious singing family (two brothers and a sister) that inspired the smash ‘60s hit television show, THE PATRIDGE FAMILY. They are sure to delight with their best-known songs, “Hair,” “Indian Lake,” “The Rain The Park & Other Things (I Love The Flower Girl)” and more.

Family has always been at the center of things for Los Lonely Boys. Henry, Jojo, and Ringo Garza have been playing and touring together since they were teenagers. Afew years ago, they decided to take a break to focus on their own growing families. But Summer 2022 saw them back at it again, returning to life on the road alongside The Who. The Boys have been making music together for nineteen years now, and they show no signs of slowing down or losing inspiration.
The story of how the Garza brothers rode their bluesy “Texican rock & roll” sound from San Angelo, Texas, to worldwide fame is one of rock’s great Cinderella tales. The three young brothers formed a band, got signed to a major label, and had a hit single that propelled them to stardom. They sold 2.5 million records, won a Grammy, and received five more Grammy nominations in the span of their career.

Event Details
Famed “pop music in a time machine” concert act Postmodern Jukebox celebrates a dual milestone of their 10th anniversary of touring and their 1000th concert with The ‘10’ Tour.
Concertgoers can expect a daring an inspiring trip through the PMH Universe – where modern day earworms and iconic pop hits alike are reimagined in classic genres like 1920s Jazz, Swing, Doo-Wop and Motown, and brought to life by a cast of some of the world’s best singers, dancers and instrumentalists. Think “The Great Gastby” meets “Sinatra At The Sands” meets “Back To The Future.”
When pianist Scott Bradlee started the time-twisting musical collective from a basement apartment in Queens, NY, an online, “viral” success story was born —one that quickly led to sold out shows across North America and Europe in the Summer of 2014.
The touring act received rave reviews from industry publications and world-renowned artists alike. In the years that followed, “PMJ” built a reputation as the “Saturday Night Live of Singers” by introducing audiences to dozens of exceptional musical artists —many of whom had been previously overlooked by the modern record industry — and turning them into bonafide stars.
Ten years and two billion views on their YouTube channel later, a Postmodern Jukebox show has become something of an annual musical tradition for hundreds of thousands of dedicated fans all over the world — fans that often show up dressed to the nines in their vintage best, eager to immerse themselves in the experience.

Music insiders would have you believe that there are a variety of musical genres and categories, and that common ground is few and far between. However, the bottom line is that people embrace music and rhythms that mean something to them, no matter what their background. As Maxi Priest knows, music is universal. Over the course of 10 albums and countless live performances all over the globe, Maxi has unleashed a one-world music that heals, rejuvenates and uplifts…
In 1984 Maxi made a bit of history after he and Paul “Barry Boom ” Robinson produced Philip Levi’s “Mi God Mi King, .. the first UK reggae tune to reach Number One in Jamaica. His 1988 album Maxi, was recorded in Jamaica with legendary musicians Sly Dunbar, Robbie Shakespeare, and Willie Londo, and was released in America by Virgin Records. With “Some Guys Have All the Luck,” a cover of Cat Stevens’ classic “Wild World” that gave Maxi his first U.S. smash hit, and roots tracks like his duet with Beres Hammond, “..How Can We Ease The Pain.., “Maxi’s music was taken to an entirely new level, gaining him worldwide recognition.
Two years later, Maxi released Bonafide, which achieved gold status, and the single, “Close To You,” hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles chart and #2 on the Hot R&B Singles chart. In 1991, Maxi’s collaborations with Roberta Flack, “Set The Night To Music,” and with Shabba Ranks, “Housecall,” again took Maxi to the highest chart echelons, and he capped off the year by releasing Best Of Me, a powerful compilation of hits from his four previous albums.
By the early to mid 90’s, Maxi was critically acclaimed for his skills in balancing hard-core reggae vibes with more mainstream pop sensibilities and that approach added to his growing popularity as both a recording and touring artist.
In 1996, Maxi released the hit CD Man With The Fun, which contained the crossover single “That Girl,” a duet with Shaggy. “That Girl” became a Grammy Nominated track and the accompanying Hype Williams-directed video became an MTV staple.
CombiNation, released in 1999, is a sexy and soulful album embracing reggae, hip-hop, R&B, rock, jazz, pop and rhythms, containing production and songwriting work by Sly & Robbie, Robert Livingston, Simon Law, and Joe.
Since his 1988 debut, Maxi has enjoyed tremendous success as a singer with popularity and recognition around the world. In fact, he is the most successful reggae solo artist in the world, second only to legend Bob Marley. He has enjoyed numerous worldwide hits as well as a Number one pop chart smash and is widely credited with helping spread the gospel of reggae and Caribbean music.

From 1975 to 1985 Pablo Cruise toured extensively, welcoming fans to “Climb Aboard The Good Ship Pablo Cruise.” Reaching the top 10 with mega hits like “Whatcha Gonna Do When She Says Goodbye?” and “Love Will Find A Way,” and several other top 20’s, the band went on to sell several million albums and singles collectively and established themselves as well respected writers and performers within the industry. They appeared on numerous TV shows, including Dick Clark’s American Bandstand, The Merv Griffin Show, The Dinah Shore Hour and in 1979 they broke Elvis Presley’s attendance record at the Sahara Tahoe in South Lake Tahoe, Nevada, becoming the first rock band to play a casino showroom. They also became the first rock band to grace the stage at the Grand Ole Opry, but by 1985 after completing several national tours and releasing 7 studio albums in all, the band decided to take a hiatus……one that lasted nearly 20 years.
In 2005 a reunited Pablo Cruise picked up where they left off and today the band performs all over the U.S. and Canada and they’re enjoying it more than ever. Today Pablo Cruise is bringing more energy and excitement to the stage than ever before. Don’t miss this opportunity to see Pablo Cruise live.
English musician and songwriter Peter Beckett has written songs for many prominent recording artists, but is best known as the lead singer and guitarist for 1970s soft rock group Player, which scored a #1 record in the USA with “Baby Come Back.”
Yacht Groove is a tightly knit fun pop rock act that will not disappoint. They play a compilation of all the recognizable 70s and 80s radio rock hits you hate to admit you love. This party ban cranks out all those party hits of yesterday in a fun-filled show while dressed in laid back Nautical attire, so jump on board an have some fun. No socks required. Sun screen optional.
