Ex Guns N’ Roses guitarist Gilby Clarke’s heart pumps rock ‘n roll. In addition to his stint with Guns N’ Roses, Gilby has played guitar for the MC5, Nancy Sinatra, Heart, and even Rockstar: Supernova. In addition, he’s twiddled production knobs for internationally lauded, tumbledown punks The Bronx, LA Guns, and Alice Cooper. More importantly, he’s made a bunch of records that rock ’n’ roll purists the world over treasure and occasionally argue about.
SLUNT is a hard rock band’s hard rock band. Plain and simple. Jagged around the edges and bursting with huge riffs from abrasive guitars held in place by a one-two punch of a rhythm section that recalls AC/DC in their ‘Back In Black’ prime, they definitely don’t disappoint on stage. Fronted by lead singer / rhythm guitarist (& former Mtv/Mtv2/Fuse VJ) Abby Gennet, SLUNT has toured extensively around the U.S. & abroad as direct support for bands such as Marilyn Manson, Motorhead, Paul Stanley, Drowning Pool, Zeke, Orgy, COC and more. They released a self-titled EP in 2004 & two full-length albums (“Get a Load of This” in 2005 and “One Night Stand” in 2006) on LA-based indie label Repossession Records. The band, who’s current line-up includes original drummer Charles Ruggiero, will include some VERY special guests sitting in on lead guitar and bass. It’s a show you do NOT want to miss!!
